18m Concrete Placing Boom Special for Building Construction Machine

05 August, 2026

This 18m concrete placing boom is specially matched for integral intelligent climbing building machines for high-altitude concrete pouring. With a maximum working radius of 18 meters, it covers a large pouring area on floors, widely used in super high-rise apartments, office buildings, commercial complexes and other modular intelligent building projects.

It is firmly installed on the platform of climbing building machine and ascends synchronously with the whole equipment. Repeated disassembly, hoisting and re-fixing at height are eliminated, which greatly shortens preparation time on site. Equipped with full-hydraulic control system, the boom realizes stable rotation and luffing with 360° all-directional concrete distribution. Accurate feeding for floor slabs, wall columns and beams reduces concrete waste and guarantees flat pouring surface and construction quality.

The whole frame is welded with thickened high-strength section steel for stable bearing capacity. Optimized lightweight structure brings no extra load burden to the building machine. Wear-resistant thick seamless steel pipes are adopted for conveying pipelines to support long-term uninterrupted heavy-duty pouring with strong impact resistance and long service life. The integrated electric-hydraulic control cabinet enables easy nearby operation, avoiding frequent movement of workers at height and lowering potential safety hazards, suitable for all-weather heavy construction conditions.

Key Advantages

  1. 18m Super Long Working Radius Covers the whole floor efficiently; one unit can finish concrete pouring of an entire floor without frequent position adjustment for continuous construction.
  2. Synchronous Climbing with Building Machine Fixed integrally on the platform and climbs together, no repeated hoisting and assembly by tower crane, saving labor and machine rental cost.
  3. Precise Hydraulic Operation Smooth start and stop without impact; accurate positioning improves uniformity of concrete pouring and overall engineering quality.
  4. High Safety for Aerial Work High-strength base structure with excellent shock resistance; nearby operation reduces workers’ movement at height and construction risks.
  5. Durable & Easy Maintenance Reinforced wear-resistant vulnerable parts including delivery pipes and slewing bearings, low failure rate and simple daily maintenance, adaptable to harsh construction site environment.
  6. Application Scenarios of Mobile Hydraulic Concrete Placing Booms

    1. Residential Building Construction

    1. Basements & underground parking garages: Large-area floor slab pouring with segmented construction requirements. It avoids repeated assembly and disassembly of pump pipes, enabling precise concrete placement at garage corners and post-cast strips.
    2. High-rise buildings: Mobile hydraulic placing booms with a working radius of 15m–21m can be hoisted to target floors by tower cranes. They support one-time integrated pouring of floor slabs and shear walls, replacing manual pipeline dragging to cut labor costs and eliminate missing pouring issues.
    3. High-rise residential buildings: Our lightweight 21m mobile model is widely adopted. It can be repositioned quickly after pouring on each floor without permanent fixation.
    4. Commercial complexes and office buildings: For alternating multi-point construction on large floor slabs at the lower floors of shopping malls and office towers, a single unit can serve multiple construction zones.

    2. Industrial Plant Projects

    1. Steel structure workshops: Continuous large-area pouring for long-span floors, roof slabs and equipment foundations. Featuring hydraulic foldable booms, the equipment flexibly evades numerous internal columns and obstacles inside workshops, with 360° rotation delivering blind-spot-free concrete placement.
    2. Prefabricated component factories: Fixed-point pouring for precast girders, floor slabs and casting moulds. One placing boom can shuttle between multiple mould stations to ensure high efficiency for frequent site transfers.
    3. Warehouses, cold storage facilities and workshops with wear-resistant floors: Achieves even and continuous concrete placement to reduce manual concrete spreading work.
    4. Ports and logistics yards: One-time continuous pouring of large-area heavy-load bearing floors, with flexible movement to cover the entire yard area.
